Mission Sunday – 20th October

Next weekend we will celebrate World Mission Sunday, the Holy Father’s annual appeal to support overseas mission and missionaries. Donations collected at these worldwide Masses go, in their entirety, to support churches, hospitals, schools and vocations in countries where the Church is new, young or poor. This year’s theme comes to us from the Gospel of Matthew, God’s desire that we “Go and invite everyone to the banquet.”(Matthew 22:9)
