FAREWELL TO THE PAPAL NUNCIO Our friends in the African
Chaplaincy, led by their chaplain Fr Cornelius Nwaogwugwu C.M.,
have organized a farewell Mass in honour of His Excellency,
Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, Papal Nuncio to Ireland since 2017.
Archbishop Okolo has recently been appointed by Pope Francis as
Apostolic Nuncio to the Czech Republic and will soon be departing
our shores. This Mass takes place today, Sunday June 19th in St
Brigid’s Blanchardstown at 2pm and Archbishop Okolo will be the
Principal Celebrant. The Mass will be followed by a reception in
Castleknock College to which all are welcome.
